Welcome to the Broadsword Authentication to Buy Service. This service provides you with the ability to request new IT and mobile phone equipment to support you in your day-to-day role.
There are 2 possible options
1. To select from the drop down box, which displays a request form and information about the product, fill in the details and submit request. In the full system
the information will be captured, so that reports can be created. An email will be sent to the requester confirming the request and the form sent as an attachment to
an authoriser and costs can be added to this form. After authorisation the form will be forwarded to a supplier and the requester informed via email that
the request has been approved.
2. Login and from the box with reports, product ordering, query, you can select a whole range of products from different suppliers and build
up an order. Again once the order is sent, the requester receives an acknowledgment of the order and an authoriser receives an email
informing them that there is an order to authorise. This can be done by clicking on a link from the email, also the authoriser can delete
or amend the order. Once authorised the order is sent to the supplier in the format that they require for integration into their
back office systems e.g csv file, xml or any other data format.
